Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms govern your use of the CabPass website at cabpass.uk. By using the website or applying to join, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who CabPass is for
CabPass is a private platform exclusively for licensed London Black Cab drivers holding a valid green or yellow badge. It is not a service for passengers, minicab, private hire or ride-hailing drivers. Every applicant is approved manually before being given access.
2. The website and the operational platform
This website (cabpass.uk) is the public front door: it provides information, builds trust, and lets eligible drivers join the waiting list and be onboarded. Job posting, job acceptance, wallets, the £20 unlock payment, the £10/£10 split, withdrawals, transactions and administration take place on the separate CabPass operational platform, which has its own terms that you accept when you access it. Nothing on this website constitutes the operation of payments or financial accounts.
3. Waiting list
Applying to join is a request to be considered for access. It does not guarantee acceptance. We verify each applicant's current TfL London Taxi Driver Licence manually and may decline or remove applications at our discretion.
4. How CabPass works (for information)
When a driver posts a job they cannot complete, another licensed driver may unlock it by paying a £20 unlock fee. That fee is held securely and only released once the journey has been completed and confirmed — £10 to the posting driver and £10 to CabPass. The accepting driver keeps 100% of the fare. This description is provided for information; the actual service is delivered through the operational platform under its own terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to provide accurate information, to use the website lawfully, and not to attempt to disrupt, misuse or gain unauthorised access to it.
6. Intellectual property
The CabPass name, logo, content and design are owned by CabPass and may not be copied or used without permission.
7. Disclaimers
The website is provided "as is". While we work to keep information accurate and the site available, we do not guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CabPass is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when they were last revised.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
